The Diesel Particulate Filter is a standard fitting for the modern diesel vehicle. It is primarily responsible for filtering many of the harmful chemicals that are produced during the combustion process.
The Diesel Particulate Filter will eventually start to clog up with soot, resulting in poorer engine performance and fuel efficiency. Using specialist regenerative equipment we can connect to the exhaust systems and bring it up to a temperature high enough to burn away carbon deposits. These carbon deposits are then flushed out of the system leaving the DPF clean and unobstructed.
You may need a DPF clean if:
The DPF warning symbol has appeared on your dashboard You are experiencing a loss of engine power
Automatic stop-start system isn't working
Your fuel economy is worsening
Cooling fans are running more often than usual
