By plugging directly into your vehicles ECU (Engine Control Unit) we can take a reading of the data it has stored. One of our expert technicians will then be able to make an accurate assessment of any faults detected within your vehicle.
Typically when an error is detected it shows up as a warning light on the dashboard. You may also experience some of the symptoms of a faulty ECU itself, which can include things like the engine check light coming on, your engine stalling or misfiring, engine performance issues or your car failing to start.
The ECU is an onboard computer that is connected to an array of sensors located around your vehicle. Your ECU is responsible for monitoring a number of systems including:
